Adopt a Dog
And tell your friends to adopt dogs instead of buying them. Adopting dogs rather than buying them
will save thousands of dogs from being euthenized in shelters every day. A dog is killed
approximately every 9 seconds.
The Fayette
County
Shelter is
now part of
the Solution!
 Every pet
leaving our
shelter will
be spayed or
neutered
before going
to their new
family!
Control Pet
Population,
its the only
way to give
them a
chance!
Remember, as pet owners, we have a responsibility to care for our animals as we
would a family member.  One of the most important things we can do to help is
spay & neuter.  There are too many homeless dogs and cats due  to endless
litters born each year.  Puppies and kittens are very cute and adorable, but the
fact is that these same cute kittens & puppies end up in shelters every day.
There isn't a shelter or rescue in the world large enough to home every animal
that needs it.  So please do your expected part, and remember to spay and
neuter.  It's the most humane thing you can do for the one you love!
Save the life of a dog or
cat, adopt today...
save the world!
Many animals delivered to the shelter have
been victims of abuse.  Whether it is neglect
or physical abuse, they still need a loving &
caring home.  These are usually the most in
need as many rescues groups and adopters
tend to overlook these wonderful ones.
Don't forget those that others have
forgotten.  Be a hero and adopt one in need
today!

Did you know that 25% of
dogs in the shelter are pure
breds?  Remember, pets
rescued from the shelter are
very grateful and they have a
"sixth sense".  They know
YOU saved their life and will
quickly become your best
friend.
4 MILLION dogs are killed EACH YEAR because
no one will give them a loving home.  Please
adopt your next pet from a shelter and do not
"purchase" a dog from a breeder.  Helpless
animals will continue to be euthanized each and
every day because of the over population
caused by the lack of neutering and spaying by
their owners.  Please do not be a contributor to
this problem and become a part of the solution.
Adopt today and neuter and spay!
We have a desire to find

OUR GOAL?  To find
every animal a home!
Please tell everyone you
know about our shelter.
We have many dogs and
cats in need that are
running out of time.  Just
because the shelter is full
doesn't mean they stop
bringing them in.
Unfortunately and sadly,
we do not have endless
room for every animal in
need.  We rely on people
like you to save them.
We've started a
